Compared to cotton, silk doesn’t trap moisture inside.

Silk is a breathable fabric, dries up fast and therefore helps to reduce the build-up of moisture underneath the mask.

This area has potential to become a breeding ground for bacteria.
In addition, silk has antibacterial properties & helps to prevent skin acne.

Our masks are manufactured out of two silk layers and have elastic rubber bands for fastening.
